Where the Winners Are: Prize-Winner Density by Game

Beyond the jackpot, every draw produces thousands of smaller winners. We summed 334,000 prize breakdowns to see which games spread the most prizes.

The jackpot is one line in a prize table that often runs eight or nine tiers deep. PatternSight stores the full breakdown for more than 334,000 draws — every tier, every winner count. Summed across a game's history, the totals are enormous.

Multi-tier games dominate

The leaderboard is led by games with many prize tiers and long histories — every draw adds tens or hundreds of thousands of lower-tier winners. A game where matching three numbers pays a few dollars will rack up far more total winners than one that pays only for the jackpot, even if the headline prize is smaller.

Why this matters for understanding a game

Winner density is a window into how a game distributes its prize pool — broadly across many small wins, or narrowly toward the top. It is descriptive, historical, and exactly the kind of structural fact that is hard to find anywhere else. We built the dimension precisely because the data was sitting unused.
